About Lydia Farris

I moved to Buena Vista, CO in 2017 from Cleveland, Missouri, a tiny town south of Kansas City, Missouri. Although I was born in New Jersey, I moved to the Kansas City area with my family in 1976. In 1992, I started working at a Kansas City video production company and in 2003 started my own video production and event services company. After 28 years in video and event productions, I am excited to use my client relationship and marketing skills to help guide buyers and sellers smoothly through every real estate transaction.

I am married with two sons, three granddaughters, and a grandson, and I enjoy spending my free time, not only with my family, but exploring Colorado off-road. I help local and national organizations with trail maintenance and educate on property trail usage. I’m known for my enthusiasm, humor, resourcefulness, and dedication to excellence as well as my commitment to creating trouble-free transactions for my clients.

    Working with Lydia to buy our first home was smoother than I could have ever imagined!

    Lydia is personable, smart, very thorough, and if she doesn’t know the answer to something, she will immediately call/text the person who does so that we had our answers quickly! We had come down to the valley to look at a piece of property on behalf of my parents, and after spending only a little bit of time with Lydia, she immediately won our trust. Later on, Lydia took us on a little extra excursion to view a new build while it was just being framed out and we were sold… for US! Navigating buying a house 3 hours from where we used to live (Denver) might have caused some angst if our realtor wasn’t Lydia! She sent us pictures of the building process, constantly updated us on the progress of the home, and explained any and all documents/contracts that we needed to sign. The entire process from going under contract to closing proceeded so smoothly, and I really attribute that to Lydia’s deep knowledge of her job! We are now settling into our new home and we couldn’t be more pleased with how it all turned out. Thank you, Lydia!!!
